The otter represents woman medicine. They are friendly, playful, and free of jealousy. If otter enters your life, always remember the beauty of a balanced female side, create a space for others to enter your life without preconceptions or suspicions. Otter teaches

that balanced female energy is not jealousy or bitchiness, but sisterhood and sharing with others. Otter expresses joy for all. Remember that both men and women, have a feminine side. As both male and female humans start to display this medicine, the world will become a joyful place where all can reside happily, playfully and without jealousy, and not be afraid of being harmed or of loss.

Part of the otter’s vibrant energy is associated with its deep connection to water, where they spend most of their time, and in which they are very fast and agile. Often they are seen floating on their backs with their paws sticking out of the water, playfully sliding on their bellies or doing acrobatics. Water symbolizes receptivity and has also been long associated with emotional energies in man. Let life simply be, rather than stopping the flow by worrying about things which have happened and about things. Learn to be like otter, gliding through the emotional ups and downs of life with effortlessly.

What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese form of stress reduction and relaxation.  It also promotes healing.

Rei - the general meaning of Rei is Spiritual Wisdom or Universal LIfe Energy.

Ki - Ki (the same as Chi in Chinese) is energy or vital life force. It is the non-physical energy that gives life to all living things.

What is the difference between Tachiagima Reiki and Usui Reiki

Tachiagima Reiki uses Master Mikao Usui's 3 symbols in addition to 10 other symbols that were gifted to Sensei Pamela Maguire Smith by Tachiagima - who is a spiritual being. The symbols that were given help us utilize universal energy at a higher frequency that is needed in today's world as we heal ourselves and start our transition from 3rd dimensional thinking to 5th dimensional thinking.

Usui Holy Fire III Reiki utilizes the 3 symbols given to Sensei Usui and an additional two symbols that were gifted to Sensei William Rand, who has also been gifted with upgraded downloads for symbols which were passed on to all of us who are Reiki Masters of this kind of Reiki.  These new attunements also work within higher dimensional energy.

It is all about choice.  I am thrilled to be a newly attuned Tachiagima Reiki Practitioner and I am finding that working with this Reiki energy has brought myself and those I have worked with powerful healing.

Usui Holy Fire III Reiki also provides powerful healing and is a very gentle energy to work with.

Each form of Reiki has it's own merits and have grown from one another! Tachiagima Reiki finds it's roots in Usui Reiki and uses 3 of Sensei Usui's symbols plus 10 more symbols that were given to Sensei Pamela Maguire Smith

What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is the art and science of utilizing the naturally extracted oils from plants to provide balance on the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual areas of life.

Essential oils have been used for thousands of years for their health and beauty benefits and can be found in many products such as bath oils, tinctures, skin and facial creams. They are also sold in pure form to use in diffusers to lift mood and for increased psychological benefits.

What is an Herbal Remedy?

An Herbal Remedy is mixture made up of plant essences and plant materials to help to heal various health issues.

While there is currently no official certification, I am studying with Chestnut School of Herbalism to gain my diploma in Herbology. This gives me knowledge from planting and growing many different herbs and plants as well as the medicinal properties of each plant.  Safety and Posionous plants are also covered to ensure the utmost safety for this field.
